Summer Term School Trips

With over 100 acres of scenic woodlands and trails, there’s so much to explore. School trips are self-lead, leaving every group to have a unique experience and embrace the wonder of exploration and discovery.

With your class, discover something new to learn, play and experience at every turn. A class outing at Mountain View Ranch will immerse students in the great outdoors, providing fresh learning experiences and many opportunities to develop physical skills, teamwork and resilience.

Explore the Minibeast Trail, enchanting Fairy Forest and of course, everyone’s favourite, The Gruffalo Trail! Bounce onto the giant jumping pillows, test your balance on the low ropes course, zoom on the zip lines to the soft archery, say hello to the ‘Funny Goats’, and meet our beautifully crafted wooden sculptures. Explore the trees, wild flowers and open fields and enjoy a picnic in the fresh air!

Suggested Schedule

10:00: Arrive and be greeted by a member of the team who will bring you to our entrance from your coach. Quick toilet stop and time to prepare!

10:15: Begin your self-lead exploration session around the Ranch, including the Minibeast Trail to learn about our creepy crawlies, test out the low ropes, ride the double zipline and roam the Fairy Forest.

12:00: Find a lovely picnic spot on benches or amongst the flowers on the lawn, and enjoy your packed lunch.

12:30: Explore with your map to find more discoveries, including working as a team to find the hidden Treehouses and Lost Hideout. Brave the big big swings and bounce with your classmates on the giant jumping pillows.

14:00: Depart with tired legs, lasting memories and smiles!
